Años llenos de rencor, heridas sin cerrar y afectos sin retomar. Con el COVID 19 y el confinamiento como enemigo a las puertas, María Luisa y Mai, madre e hija, pasarán toda una noche juntas, de la que ambas tratarán de huir, pero de la que ninguna de ellas quiere escapar. Mai tendrá que decidir entre volver a su vida o quedarse con su madre.
